Grinch Food Drive

If you’ve never experienced the magic of Whoville before, please allow us to share a brief history of where we began, how much we’ve grown, and why you’ll want to join us for our 4th Annual Grinch Food Drive on Saturday, December 9th!

2020 – during Covid, with a few homemade decorations and a small team of (socially-distant) Who’s we sang and danced while we collected:

1,500 lbs. of food and $1,500 in donations which provided 5,000 meals to our community

2021 – we added some bells and whistles, recruited more Who’s (with even fancier hair), pumped up the holiday jams and set our sights on:

1,900 lbs. of food and $2,200 in donations which provided 7,200 meals to our community

2022 – skipped the bells and whistles, added a DJ, so many adorable Who’s, and built a Whoville that deserved its own zip code…while we FILLED A SEMI with:

12,370 lbs. of food and $14,000 in donations which provided 45,685 meals to our community

2023 – you’ll see and hear Whoville from miles away – we’re BIGGER and BETTER than EVER…with more HOLIDAY FUN than you can handle…behold the MAGIC OF WHOVILLE!

Please helps us reach our goal of providing 60,000 meals to our community!

Please see below for more details and a special message from the Grinch!

The Grinch is back with an invitation for you…to join us December 9th for our Food-Drive-Thru! Our goal is to provide 60,000 meals to those in need…can you imagine how many mouths we will feed? If you can’t make it in person because you don’t live around here….we’ve set up a virtual food bank, so have no fear! Each donation matters, big or small…because we can’t do without you, Whoville needs us ALL!   If you’re able to join us, a GIANT SNOWMAN you’ll see…or listen for our Who’s singing carols with glee! Snap a keepsake photo with Cindy Lou & The Grinch…shop our holiday merch and test out the TOCA soccer experience! So, load up your non-perishable food items into your sleigh…we’ll help you unload them when you arrive that day! Whoville isn’t just for kids, there’s so much to see…what it looks like when we work together to grow our pantry by 3! https://moveforhunger.org/grinch     The Community Calendar is provided as a community service to citizens and businesses within Frisco and the surrounding community.
