DESCRIPTION:Each year Good Days spearheads Chronic Disease Day to raise awa
	reness and advance access to care for individuals with rare and chronic il
	lness. This kickoff event will feature local patient advocates\, elected o
	fficials\, business leaders and Good Days community members. Snacks and re

	ddays.org. About Good Days Good Days is a national non-profit charitable o
	rganization that lifts the burdens of chronic illness through assistance\,
	 advocacy\, and awareness. We aim to achieve this mission through the thre
	e branches of the organization: Good Days provides patient assistance and 
	financial resources for lifesaving and life-extending treatments to people
	 in need. Chronic Disease Day is an awareness campaign led by the national
	 non-profit Good Days\, that uses peoples’ stories and voices to advocate 
	to lower the number of preventable illnesses\, advance access to care for 
	unpreventable conditions\, and build healthier communities. Empowered Us i
	s a storytelling and resource hub led by the national non-profit Good Days
	 that explores the challenges and opportunities of the healthcare journey 
	and shares solutions for our community of patients\, caregivers\, and heal
	thcare professionals. Some high-level metrics of our organization: Establi
	shed in 2003 Has provided over $2.8 Billion dollars in financial assistanc
	e to greater than 800\,000 people in the United States affected by chronic
	 and rare disease. Helped almost 290\,000 Americans last year (newly diagn
	osed and existing people impacted by chronic and rare diseases) across the
