About This Event

Battle of the Badges Frisco 2021

Temperatures aren’t the only thing rising this season – blood use is, too. This summer is particularly challenging as there are not enough blood donations to support the need of local patients. Factors including a rapidly growing population, medical treatment advances, reduced blood drive participation due to the pandemic and extended surgery schedules for procedures previously canceled due to COVID-19 have strained the blood supply to levels not seen in 30 years.

Frisco’s first responders are eager to make sure blood is readily available for community hospital patients, no matter what emergencies arise. That’s why Frisco Police and Fire departments are stepping up to host the Battle of the Badges blood drives, July 16-17.

Find your nearest location below, then click the link to schedule your appointment to give. When you’ve finished donating blood, cast your “vote” in support of the Frisco Fire or Police Department and you’ll receive an exclusive Battle of the Badges t-shirt.
