DESCRIPTION:Since launching Shred Day DFW in 2011 with our event partner Ir
on Mountain\, we have helped North Texans securely destroy and recycle ove
r 3.9 million pounds of sensitive paper documents\, helping keep that info
rmation out of the hands of dumpster divers and local landfills. In the pr
ocess\, our generous guests have helped us raise over $185\,000 and 100\,0
00-plus pounds of food for the North Texas Food Bank\, which is equivalent
to providing more than 646\,000 meals for hungry North Texans. On Saturda
y\, April 12\, we’ll be hosting our 13th annual Shred Day DFW at Mercer Bu
siness Park\, at the northwest corner of I-35E and I-635. The event is fre
e and open to the public\, and there is no limit to how much paper you can
bring! Consumers and business owners may bring any amount of personal or
business paper documents\, and we’ll destroy and recycle them securely and
efficiently. There are countless sources of personally identifiable infor
mation around the home and office. If there’s ever a doubt\, have it profe
ssionally shredded. The financial and reputational risk of having an ident
ity stolen is too great to not put in the little bit of extra effort it ta
kes to shred a document. And the peace of mind is priceless. We look forwa
rd to serving you at Shred Day DFW\, and to raising your expectations of w
hat a bank can be in the community! The Community Calendar is provided as
a community service to citizens and businesses within Frisco and the surro
unding community. Events posted on this calendar in the "Community" catego
ry are not Frisco Chamber events. Please contact the organization or organ
	izers directly with questions.
