UP CLOSE - UNT

President Neal J. Smatresk joined UNT in 2014 with a vision for leading the University of North Texas to national prominence as the largest, most comprehensive university dedicated to meeting the dynamic needs of the North Texas region. Under his leadership, UNT was named a Carnegie-ranked Tier One research university, identified as a top 10 U.S. public university on the rise, and earned designation as both a Minority-Serving and Hispanic-serving institution.

In February 2024, Smatresk announced his intention to step away from his role as President effective August 1, 2024. Join us for a Fireside Chat as we discuss the accomplishments and challenges of Dr. Smatresk's leadership over the past ten years. This is our opportunity as a business community to say thank you to Dr. Smatresk for his service and UNT's belief in Frisco!

Space is limited, so secure your spot at UP CLOSE! This event is free; however, registration is required.
