radha krishna temple MAHASHIVRATRI MELA - awaken your vibrant consciousness !!

Join us for a grand celebration for Mahashivratri Mela on Mar 8th -  10th!

Mahashivratri is one of the most devotional festivals celebrated in India and by people of Indian origin around the world. The word “Maha” means big or huge, “Ratri” means night and Shiv ji is the Lord in whom souls seek refuge. Thus, Mahashivratri is very significant for spiritual aspirants. On this evening and night, devotees engage in intense sadhana to enhance their spiritual growth.

Mahashivratri is also the occasion of the wedding of Shiv-Parvati. It symbolizes Mother Parvati's selfless devotion to Lord Shiva. For her sake, Lord Shiva transformed from his terrifying form into the beautiful Lord Chandrasekhar for the wedding.
